"KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead a team of developers working on EQRMS. Act as technology expert for the team, writing code as needed.Review project plans, code and test results proactively; conduct peer reviews. Requirements:
"A project leader is required to work in an existing team of 3-4 developers within the Equity Derivative Technology Group in NY. The EDTG group as a whole has 20+ developers at time of writing and this is a team that looks after a part of the EDTG technology platform. This team is responsible for functionality based on the EQRMS platform to the global Equity Derivatives trading desks and for risk management, trade capture and other related front office functionality. Other areas could include customer valuations, EOD feeds and overnight batch systems. This role would be ideal for a developer with in-depth business and technical knowledge who is now looking to extend their skills into project management** A significant part of the role will be hands-on technical work requiring business and software knowledge, but there will also be responsibilities in the areas of Project coordination, human resource activities, and contributing and running with new strategic recommendations. This is a key area in a rapidly expanding part of the Equity Derivatives business, and as such will allow the successful candidate to improve their profile and customer facing skills through responsibility for delivery. BUSINESS OVERVIEW EDTG have delivered a very successful trading and risk management platform that has been chosen as the global equity derivatives technology platform.
